Bake Sales for Beginners

Hosting a bake sale? It's gonna be a blast. Here's a timeline for everything you need to know and do to make your bake sale a success.

Three Weeks Ahead

Enlist the help of volunteers to donate baked goods and/or to participate during the sale.

Two Weeks Ahead

Create a little bit of buzz: Print or make signs to post in popular locations. You may even want to consider placing an ad in your local paper or on a community calendar.

One Week Ahead

Pick up decorating or set-up items like tablecloths, boxes, tiers, platters and baskets. And don't forget paper plates, napkins, plastic forks, to-go bags, trash bags, etc.

Make sure you have change to give your customers! You don't want to be left scrambling!

Day of the Event
