Ingredients

  • 2 cups (11.5-oz.) pkg.) HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped dried cherries*
  • 1/3 cup salted pecan or almond pieces*
  • 1/4 cup chopped dried apricots*

Directions

1. Line cookie sheet with wax paper. Stir together nuts, apricots and cherries; set aside.

2. Place chocolate chips in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 minute; stir. Continue microwaving at MEDIUM in 15 second increments, stirring after each heating, until chips are melted and smooth when stirred.

3. Pour mixture onto prepared cookie sheet; spread to about 1/2-inch thickness. Gently tap cookie sheet on countertop to even out thickness of mixture. Sprinkle nut mixture over surface. Repeat tapping cookie sheet on counter until candy is desired thickness.

4. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until firm. Break into pieces. Store in cool, dry place. About 1 pound candy.

*Amounts and choices of fruits and nuts can vary according to your own preference.

Definitely going to make this before Christmas but I'll be using raisins and almonds instead of apricots! Can't wait to try it....I know it will be delicious!
