i just baked this cake and my cake turned out all dense and sticky...somewhat like a brownie...unlike fluffy normal cakes...is it meant to be like that? i'm so disappointed...my cakes never turn out this way...and it's for a very special occasion :(

This recipe is making me clean my oven again! The batter was very thin and exploded, literally, in my oven. This recipe, other than the frosting, is far from perfect. Don't recommend.
