HUGable Chocolate Cheesepie

  • 2 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 sections (1/2 oz. each) HERSHEY'S Unsweetened Chocolate Baking Bar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 container (8 oz.) dairy sour cream
  • 1 extra serving-size packaged crumb crust (9 oz.)
  • 20 HERSHEY'S HUGS Brand Candies
  • 2 tablespoons HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Chips


  • 1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  • 2. Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, melted chocolate and 1 teaspoon vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Add eggs; blend well. Pour into crust. Bake 20 minutes or until center is almost set. Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 425°F.
  • 3. Stir together sour cream, remaining 2 tablespoons sugar and remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla in small bowl; spread evenly over top of cheesepie. Bake 10 minutes; remove from oven. Cool completely.
  • 4. Remove wrappers from HUGS Candies. Coarsely chop 12 pieces; sprinkle over top of cheesepie, about 1-1/2 inches in from edge. Cover; refrigerate. Just before serving, garnish around edge with chocolate chips and remaining HUGS Candies. Cover; refrigerate leftover cheesepie. Makes 8 servings.
