Almond Mini Chip Shortbread Recipe


  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter (no substitutions)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup HERSHEY'S Mini Chips Semi-Sweet Chocolate


  • 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
  • 2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until fluffy. Add flour and almond extract; blend well. Stir in small chocolate chips; pat into prepared pan.
  • 3. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes; cut into bars or triangles. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Makes 24 bars.

    This was a pretty good recipe! It was just the right amount of nuts so it wasnt over loading.
