1. Combine orange juice, butter, sugar and toffee bits in heavy medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until toffee bits are melted (about 12 minutes).
2. Add sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie spice and salt. Cook until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly. Garnish with pecan pieces and additional toffee bits, if desired. Serve warm. Makes 12 (1/3 cup) servings.
* Drained canned sweet potatoes can be substituted.
