Chocolate Lover's Fondue Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips or HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 3/4 cup light cream or half & half
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Assorted Fondue Dippers: pound cake pieces, marshmallows, cherries, grapes, mandarin orange segments, pineapple chunks, strawberries, fresh fruit slices

Directions

  • 1, Combine chocolate chips, light cream and sugar in heavy medium sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate chips are melted and mixture is hot.
  • 2. Pour into fondue pot or chafing dish; serve warm with Assorted Fondue Dippers. About 2 cups fondue.
  • VARIATION: 2 tablespoons kirsch (cherry-flavored liqueur) may be added before serving.
