Crunchy REESE'S MINI PIECES Oatmeal Cookies


  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1-1/3 cups Mini REESE'S Pieces

  • 1. Heat oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
  • 2. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed of mixer until fluffy. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add alternately with milk to butter mixture. Stir in oats and candy pieces. Drop by teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheet.
  • 3. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.

    These are so yummy. They were soft on the second day as well.
    I made my cookies larger and ended up with 2 dozen. They are really good. I suggest measuring the chips out instead of just pouring in the whole bag. I measured the 1 1/3 cup of chips and there were plenty in the cookies, and still some left in the bag to snack on. They turned out great and it was easy to make.
