2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) HERSHEY'S Premier White Chips
1/2 cup macadamia nut baking pieces
1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. Beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large bowl until well blended. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually beat into butter mixture, beating until thoroughly blended. Stir in oats. Stir in white chips and macadamia nuts. (Batter will be very stiff.) Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges of cookies are golden. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 42 cookies.
This recipe is awesome. I made this for a family gathering, and people kept eating them till they were gone. I reduce the amount of white chocolate chips a little. I am including this cookie to our assortment of cookies we make at Christmas time. I like the flavor of Hershey chips better than the other leading brand because it doesn't leave a bad aftertaste in my mouth. Anyway, go Hershey's! I am so glad I found this recipe again!
These were alright, but nothing to write home about. I won't make them again.
