1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
3/4 cup REESE'S Creamy Peanut Butter
2 cups all-purpose baking mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup sugar for rolling
1. Heat oven to 375°F. Remove wrappers from chocolates.
2. Beat sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter in large bowl until smooth. Add baking mix and vanilla; blend well. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
3. Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until very lightly browned (do not over bake). Remove from oven; immediately press chocolate piece in center of each ball. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Store in tightly covered container. Makes about 48 cookies.
CHEWY CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BLOSSOMS: Add 1/4 cup HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa to baking mix; proceed as above.
A very good recipe, with more of a peanut butter flavor than most peanut butter blossom recipes. I would suggest using parchment paper; cook for 8 minutes; quickly push in the chocolate kisses; let set on the sheet for another minute; then slide to a wire rack to cool.
Best after school cookie recipe! In the time it takes to heat the oven, the dough is ready. BIG peanut taste.
These are my family's favorite peanut butter cookie. The first time I made them my husband swore I had a mix hidden somewhere. My family loves to help roll them. They are a very easy cookie to make.
Excellent recipe! I made these as a promise to a groom for his wedding day. I made 2 double batches the night before the wedding and they were absolutely perfect! The ingredients are simple and the cookies are super easy to make and come out soft and delicious! You have to let them cool completely overnight so the kisses keep their shape.
