1-1/3 cups (8 oz. pkg.) HEATH BITS 'O BRICKLE Toffee Bits
1-1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1. Heat oven to 375°F.
2. Beat shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Add egg; beat just until blended. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into peanut butter mixture. Stir in 1 cup bits; reserve remainder for topping.
3. Drop by heaping teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet; top each with reserved bits.
4. Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until set. Do not over bake. Cool 2 minutes. Remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 36 cookies.
These are the best cookies ever. I cause quite the stir when I take them to work.....
I just made these awesome cookies. PB, chocolate, and toffee how can you go wrong.
I added 1/4 cup choc chips and 1/4 cup chopped walnuts they were very good
I add a package of milk chocolate chips to this recipe and they are hands down the best cookies I've ever eaten in my life!
These are so yummy! I love them just the way the recipe is. But, for my most recent batch: I omitted the toffee bits, added crushed peanuts and slightly flattened then with a sugar coated fork as you would for traditional PB cookies. My peanut-butter-cookie-loving-boyfriend went crazy for them! Thank you Hershey's!! =)
They were very good but a little to rich tasting to me but everyone tried to eat them up as fast as possible, considering there is no butter in them I was a little surprised.
Great combination of flavors, everyone loved the cookies when I made them for a get together last week. Yesterday I made another batch but added mini chocolate chips and omitted the extra toffe bits on top and there were a hit also, give it a try.
I baked loads of cookies; made these last night and now are my husbands #1 favorite! Terrific!
I was not sure if I would like this combo, but took them to volunteer work project and they did not last long.
