HERSHEY'S Double Chocolate Mint Cookies Recipe

HERSHEY'S Double Chocolate Mint Cookies

  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-2/3 cups (10-oz. pkg.) HERSHEY'S Mint Chocolate Chips


  • 1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  • 2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in mint chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 3. Bake 8 to 9 minutes or just until set; do not over bake. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 36 cookies.

    I've made this twice and they were a huge hit both times. Very easy, but not always easy to find the mint chocolate chips.
    Chocolate and mint are the best combination and adding extra chocolate is even better. I tend to make my cookies a little smaller, so I got more than 2.5 dozen.
