HERSHEY'S Syrup Snacking Brownies Recipe


  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups HERSHEY'S Syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips or HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips


  • 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
  • 2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl. Add syrup, eggs and flour; beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • 3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes about 24 brownies.
  • * One 16-oz. can HERSHEY'S Syrup contains 1-1/2 cups syrup.

    i followed the recipe exactly and these brownies are not good at all. i am very disappointed. they were rubbery and too sweet. i have such a sweet tooth that i will eat a dessert even if it's not great but i had to throw these brownies in the garbage. what a waste.
    I think it's great that these brownies use syrup instead of cocoa. They're just as easy to make as a brownie from a mix. The taste is good too.
    Kid's favorite! powdered sugar designs are one of the activities the kids like. Sprinkling the sugar on the template and then finding the design on the brownie really lights up their eyes! And then tell them they can eat them!
