2 cups HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips or HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup nuts
1 can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1-1/3 cups HEATH BITS 'O BRICKLE Toffee Bits
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
2. Combine flour and brown sugar in large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg; mix well. Stir in 1-1/2 cups chocolate chips and nuts; set aside 1-1/2 cups mixture.
3. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 10 minutes. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over hot crust; set aside 1/4 cup toffee bits. Sprinkle remaining toffee bits over sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture and remaining 1/2 cup chips over top.
4. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Top with reserved toffee bits. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. About 24 bars.
These are Yummy. I make them all the time. They are always a big hit.
I added Milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips!! YUMMY!!!
I made it due something different to bring something for dessert so I had it along with mint brownies and butter cookies in a nice dish to meet my daughter boyfriend family...my gosh they all loved it and was gone in one day! It's so good!I will make it again for occassion to bring dessert over and plan on making one for work scribble & nibble day!
My mom made this recipe with a couple of changes. She mixed 1 cup of white chocolate chips in place of 1 cup of dark chocolate chips, lightly toasted walnuts before adding them and sprinkled the raw dough with shredded coconut before baking. I wanted more Bit o' Brickle so will add more when I make these myself. This is a rich and yummy recipe!
These have become one of my signature cookies. I substitute mini chips for a more even texture and I line my baking pan with greased parchment for easier removal and clean-up.
I made these to take to my son
These are absolutely amazing! I made them last Christmas as part of a cookie plate as gifts for family, and I got the most requests for this recipe. Very decadent but easy to make.
