Ingredientes

  • 1 taza (2 barras) de mantequilla o margarina, suavizada
  • 3/4 taza de azúcar morena clara asentada
  • 1 huevo
  • 1 cdita. de extracto de vainilla
  • 2 tazas de harina
  • 1/2 taza de HERSHEY®’S SPECIAL DARK® Cocoa o HERSHEY®’S Cocoa
  • 1 cdita. de polvo para hornear
  • 1/4 cdita. de bicarbonato de sodio
  • 3 cdas. de leche
  • 3/4 taza de nueces de macadamia o almendras, finamente picadas
  • 3/4 taza de HEATH® BITS ‘O BRICKLE® Toffee Bits
  • Azúcar glas

Instrucciones

  • 1. En un tazón grande, bate la mantequilla, azúcar morena, huevo y vainilla hasta que queden bien integrados. Mezcla bien la harina, cocoa, polvo para hornear y bicarbonato de sodio; agrega la leche a la mezcla de mantequilla hasta que esté bien mezclado. Incorpora las nueces y los toffee bits.
  • 2. Refrigera hasta que la masa sea fácil de moldear, al menos 2 horas. Calienta el horno a 350 °F. Haz bolitas de 1 pulgada con la masa y colócalas en una lámina para hornear a 2 pulgadas de distancia.
  • 3. Hornea de 8 a10 minutos o hasta que estén listas. Pásalas de la lámina a una rejilla de alambre. Deja enfriar bien y ruédalas por azúcar glas. Rinde aprox. 4 docenas de galletas.

    My family LOVES these brownies. I have not bought brownie mix in years (since finding this recipe). I use this recipe as it is and for marbled cheesecake brownies. YUM!!

    I found this recipe on the back of a container of Hershey's Cocoa. I've never had better brownies. The second time I made this I added a 16 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips. It's a chocolate lover's dream :))
    My first time trying this recipe and it was very good with the special dark cocoa. It is hard to find the special dark cocoa but it makes the difference to me.
    EXCELLENT brownies..I lessened the amount of sugar a little and increased the vanilla...but this is the best recipe so far!
    This is awesome! I used to use a brownie mix, but no more! I wanted to add some butterscotch pieces, but unfortunately, I was out. I used 2 cups brown sugar in place of the white and they turned out great! Very moist and terrific flavor. Highly recommended.
    I made these once for my teen's English class and they were such a hit she's been begged from for them over and over. Considered better than boxed mixes by my tasters. Easy to make--I enjoy making them!

    Degree of Difficulty? It says beginners which is true; but if you only learn this one, it will carry you thru the rest of your life! Do yourself a favor and never use a box mix of Brownies, there is no comparison. You want to eat healthy? This recipe is ALL natural. So it's good for you!!

    The family's favorite!! We will be using these for favors at my daughter's wedding. Use the Special Dark cocoa for extra chocolate flavor.
    I've made these brownies for almost twenty years—have never found anyone who does not love them. The name says it all!
    I also put a few tablespoons of coffee in the batter
    Finally a recipe that comes out the way my wife and I like it...CHEWY! The only thing we changed was omit the nuts and sprinkle coconut flakes. Perfect!
    There simply is no comparison with any other brownie, no matter what you do to them. After I spead the batter in the pain, i drop about a cup and a half of chopped walnuts, press them gently down into the dough, then frost with dark chocolate butter frosting. If I could give these ten stars, I would.

    My favorite brownie recipe so far. They used to have it on their cocoa containers but has been replaced with their chocolate cake recipe. Can we please have this brownie recipe back on the cocoa containers for a while at least?
    For thicker brownie I made it in a 9" x 12” glass pan and just rotated it 10 minutes before the end. Taste like the recipe your grandmother used to make, moist and chewy. We liked it better without the frosting. Frosting was too sugar sweet. Also we are above 7,000 ft and I didn’t make any adjustment for the attitude
    These brownies are delicious. I use a 9 x 9 pan, add a layer of brownie batter, add a layer of whole Reese's peanut butter cups, then the remaining batter and bake. Delicious!
    Loved this! Now, I didn't have enough butter for this recipe so I opted for shortening. Turned out perfect! I'm not sure butter would have made it better or not. I MIGHT try butter next time just to see which is better. I also did only half a batch because I was concerned about the shortening. I wish I made a whole batch cause they were delish!

    It was so easy to make and was very delicious! Although i did not use icing i used powdered sugar!
