Small pretzels
Thin pretzel sticks
ROLO® Creamy Caramels in Chocolate Candy, unwrapped
Pecan halves
Green sprinkles or other small decorative green candies


  • 1. Heat oven to 250° F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • 2. Position 3 pretzels in shamrock shape on prepared sheet for each pretzel treat desired. Add pretzel stick for stem. Place caramel piece in center of shamrock so that it touches edges of all pretzels.
  • 3. Bake 3 to 5 minutes or until caramel piece begins to soften, but not melt.* Remove from oven; top with pecan half, pressing down gently so that caramel is connected to all pretzels. Add sprinkles. Cool completely.
  • * Adjust heating times for your oven.
  • Microwave directions:

  • 1. Remove wrappers from caramel candies. Place sheet of wax paper on microwave-safe plate.
  • 2. Place 3 pretzels in shamrock shape on prepared plate; add pretzel stem. Center caramel on shamrock. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 20 seconds or until caramel has softened slightly. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 10 seconds at a time until candy is softened.* Carefully slide wax paper and shamrock onto counter top. Top with pecan half, gently pressing down so that caramel is connected to all pretzel pieces. Add sprinkles. Cool. Repeat procedure until desired number of treats have been prepared.
  • * Some caramels are a bit firmer and require additional heating.
