  • 25 KIT KAT Wafer Bars, any color*
  • 2 cups HERSHEY'S Premier White Chips (12-oz. pkg.)
  • Green food coloring
  • Pink sugar sprinkles
  • 6 TWIZZLER Strawberry Twists Candy , divided
  • Red and white icing in tubes
  • Black decorating gel
  • 1/4 -inch oval glaze brush
  • Small knife
  • Wax paper

Directions

  • 1. Unwrap KIT KAT Wafer Bars and lay on waxed paper.
  • 2. Separate one of the four KIT KAT Wafer Bar sections from each bar, and set it aside. The three attached pieces will serve as your monster’s head, while the detached piece will be used for the nose and bolts.
  • 3. Using a small knife, cut a triangle off each side of the top of head; set aside for another use or eat.
  • 4. Cut the single KIT KAT Wafer Bar section into three equal pieces for the nose and bolts.
  • 5. Melt white chips in the microwave a few seconds at a time at MEDIUM (50%) setting. Stir and repeat as needed until smooth.
  • 6. Add a small amount of green food coloring to the melted chips and stir. Be careful,too much color will harden the chips
  • 7. Use melted green mixture to attach 1 of the 3 equal pieces to front of monster head for nose and the remaining 2 pieces to sides of the monster head. Allow to set.
  • 8. Use brush to apply melted chip mixture, covering entire head.
  • 9. Quickly sprinkle pink sugar over cheeks. Allow to cool.
  • 10. Cut strawberry twists in narrow strips for hair. Attach with frosting or additional melted chip mixture.
  • 11. Use black decorating gel to create the circle for the pupils, bolts and smile line.
  • 12. Lay flat and keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy.
  • * Makes 25 monster treats. Amounts can be increased or decreased.
