  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons HERSHEY'S Cocoa
  • Dash salt
  • 1/4 cup water hot
  • 1-1/4 cups nonfat milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Marshmallows or marshmallow creme (optional)

Directions

  • In 1-1/2 quart saucepan, stir together sugar, cocoa and salt. Gradually stir in hot water. Over medium heat, heat to boiling; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Add skim milk, heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. DO NOT BOIL. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Beat with rotary beater until foamy. Serve hot. Top with marshmallows or marshmallow creme. Two 7-ounce servings.
