Easy Chocolate Cheesepie

Five minutes of prep time, followed by three hours of fridge time and, bingo, you have an easy chocolate cream cheese pie at dessert time! Garnish with whipped topping and chocolate curls and shavings for extra goodness.

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine (1/2 stick) , softened
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 packaged crumb crust (6 oz.)
  • 2 cups frozen whipped topping , thawed
  • 1 package cream cheese (3 oz.) , softened
  • whipped topping Additional (optional)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 sections HERSHEY'S Unsweetened Chocolate Baking Bar (1/2 oz. each) , broken into pieces

Directions

  • 1. Place chocolate in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until chocolate is melted and smooth when stirred.
  • 2. Beat butter, sugar, cream cheese and milk in medium bowl until well blended and smooth; fold in melted chocolate.
  • 3. Fold in 2 cups whipped topping; spoon into crust. Cover; refrigerate until firm, about 3 hours. Garnish with additional whipped topping, if desired. Makes 8 servings.
