Chocolate and Peanut Butter Marbled Cheesecake Bars

These peanut butter cream cheese cookies are the cheesecake you can eat with your hands. Swirls of chocolate and peanut butter mixed into thick cream cheese create an indulgent combination. Fill up a tray with them for your next party and watch them disappear.

  • CRUMB CRUST (recipe follows)
  • 3 packages cream cheese (3 oz. each), softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup dairy sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/4 cups HERSHEY'S Spreads Chocolate (13-oz. jar)
  • 2/3 cup REESE'S Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions

  • 1. Prepare CRUMB CRUST. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F.
  • 2. Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until well blended. Add eggs, sour cream, flour, vanilla and salt; beat until thoroughly blended.
  • 3. Place one half of batter (about 2-1/2 cups) in separate bowl. Add chocolate spread to one bowl, beating until blended. Add peanut butter and milk to second bowl; beat until well blended.
  • 4. Alternately drop cheesecake mixtures over prepared crust. With knife swirl for marbled effect.
  • 5. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until center is almost set. Remove from oven to wire rack. Cool completely. Cover; store in refrigerator. Makes about 24 bars.
  • CRUMB CRUST: Heat oven to 325°F. Stir together 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter or margarine. Press firmly onto bottom of 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Bake 8 minutes. Cool.
