  • One (10-oz. pkg.) WHOPPERS ROBIN EGGS Malted Milk Eggs
  • 2 cups HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips (12-oz. pkg.)
  • 2 cups HERSHEY'S Premier White Chips (12-oz. pkg.)

Directions

  • 1. Line large baking sheet with wax paper. Place malted milk eggs in heavy-duty (freezer) food storage bag; crush candies with rolling pin. Set aside.
  • 2. Place chocolate chips in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, until chips are melted and smooth when stirred.
  • 3. Spread melted chocolate in thin layer over wax paper, staying about 1/2 inch from edges of paper. Refrigerate baking sheet with chocolate about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, melt white chips using the same procedure as used for the chocolate chips.
  • 4. Remove baking sheet from refrigerator. Spread melted white chips over chocolate layer, covering completely. Immediately sprinkle chopped malted milk eggs on top of white layer, pressing in lightly.
  • 5. Refrigerate or keep at room temperature until firm. Break into pieces. Store in cool, dry place. Makes 2 lbs. 2 oz. candy.
