Peanut Buttery Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe


1 3/4 cupsCHIPITS REESE Peanut Butter Chips (300 g)
1 cupbutter, softened (250 mL)
1 1/4 cupsgranulated sugar (300 mL)
2 eggs (2)
1 tspvanilla (5 mL)
2 1/2 cupsall-purpose flour (625 mL)
1 tspbaking powder (5 mL)
1 tspbaking soda (5 mL)
3/4 tspsalt (4 mL)
1 1/2 cupsCHIPITS Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and/or CHIPITS REESE Peanut Butter Chips (375 mL)


    1. Heat oven to 350°F (180°C). Microwave peanut butter chips in medium bowl, on MEDIUM (50%) until just beginning to lose their shape. Stir until smooth; set aside.

    2. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla until creamy.

    3. In medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and soda and salt; mix into egg mixture. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips. Fold in melted peanut butter chips to mix just slightly. Drop by tablespoonfuls.

    4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on rack; store in covered container.

    Makes 4 dozen cookies.
