Brownie Dipped Sandwiches


1 cupbutter, melted (250 mL)
2 tbspvegetable oil (30 mL)
2 1/4 cupsgranulated sugar (550 mL)
4 eggs
3 tspvanilla (15 mL)
1 tspsalt (5 mL)
1 cupHERSHEY’S Cocoa (250 mL)
1 cupflour (250 mL)
Dip ingredients
1 cupHERSHEY’S CHIPITS Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (250 mL)
Assortment of candies and sprinkles


    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease 10”x10”x2” (25x25x5 cm) square baking pan.
    2. Whisk together melted butter, sugar and oil. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add salt, cocoa and flour until combined.
    3. Place in greased pan and bake for 30 minutes. Cool completely before slicing. Slice into 8 squares and then cut squares into triangles.
    4. For the Dip, place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM for 30 seconds; stir. Microwave for an additional 10 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, until chocolate is melted and smooth.
    5. Pour crushed candies or sprinkles into separate bowls. Dip the long side of the brownie triangle into the melted chocolate. Then dip or sprinkle candies and sprinkles over top. Place onto parchment lined baking sheet and allow chocolate to set at room temperature.

    Makes 16 brownies.
