ROLO Friends Craft

Total Time:

15 minutes (per friend)

Supplies/Ingredients:
  • 1 or more rolls of ROLO Chewy Caramels in Milk Chocolate
  • Wiggly eyes
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Small pom-poms
  • Low temperature hot glue gun and glue
  • Scissors
  • Printed templates
Here's How:

Rudolph Template (Download PDF)

  1. Cut out all items: ears, face, tongue, mouth, nose, legs, harness and body.
  2. Wrap body around roll of candy. Attach with a few dabs of hot glue, being careful to glue the paper to itself so that it slides off easily.
  3. Glue two legs to bottom half of body. Wrap the harness around the top of legs and attach with glue.
  4. Assemble head: Glue tongue to top of mouth. Then glue mouth to bottom of face, overlapping slightly. Glue ears and nose to face. To make your Rudolph extraordinary, attach wiggly eyes and red pom-pom or foil.
  5. Glue completed head to roll just above the harness, leaving room at top to attach antlers.
  6. Wrap a brown pipe cleaner around top of roll and knot in back. Cut the antlers to size, then twist cut-off portions around the side of each antler.

Santa Template (Download PDF)

  1. Cut out all items: ears, face, cheeks, mustache, mouth, nose, beard, hat and belt.
  2. Wrap body around roll of candy. Attach with a few dabs of hot glue, being careful to glue paper to itself so that it slides off easily.
  3. Assemble head and hat: Glue mustache and cheeks to face. Glue mouth to top of beard, and attach to face. Next, glue ears and nose to face.
  4. Glue hat to top of head. To make your Santa extraordinary, attach wiggly eyes and pom-poms or foils.
  5. Glue completed head and hat to top of roll.
  6. Wrap the belt around the body and attach with glue.

Jingle the Elf Template (Download PDF)

  1. Cut out all items: ears, face, mouth, chin, nose, hair, hat and belt.
  2. Wrap body around roll of candy. Attach with a few dabs of hot glue, being careful to glue paper to itself so that it slides off easily.
  3. Assemble head and hat: Glue the mouth to chin. Then glue mouth to bottom of face, overlapping slightly. Glue ears, hair and nose to face. Glue the hat to the top of face, overlapping slightly. To make your elf extraordinary, attach wiggly eyes and pom-poms or foils.
  4. Glue completed head and hat to top of roll.
  5. Wrap belt around body and attach with glue.

Snowman Template (Download PDF)

  1. Cut out all items: face, hat, body, belt, mittens and base.
  2. Wrap base around roll of candy. Attach with a few dabs of hot glue, being careful to glue paper to itself so that it slides off easily.
  3. Create arms: Wrap a black pipe cleaner around the roll, cinching in the middle. Cut the arms to size, then glue a mitten to the end of each arm.
  4. Assemble head and hat: Glue the hat to top of head, overlapping slightly. To make your snowman extraordinary, attach wiggly eyes and a pom-pom or foil.
  5. Assemble body: glue belt to center of body, then add black pom-poms for buttons.
  6. Glue head and body to roll, centering them so arms are in the middle.
  7. Complete your snowman by tying a small ribbon around the neck for a scarf (optional).

Tree Template (Download PDF)

  1. Cut out three sections of tree and base.
  2. Wrap base around roll of candy. Attach with a few dabs of hot glue, being careful to glue the paper to itself so that it slides off easily.
  3. Create tree: glue three sections to each other, overlapping slightly. To make your tree extraordinary, attach wiggly eyes and pom-poms or foil.
  4. Glue completed tree to roll.
