CADBURY SCREME EGG Spooky Eyeballs Recipe

Things You'll Need

  • 16 oz Fondant, 16 oz. container
  • Food coloring
  • Decorating gel inwhite and black
  • 1/4" oval glaze brush
  • Waxed paper
  • Rolling pin
  • Cutting board(optional)
  • Knife
  • Paper towel

How to Make

  • 1. Unwrap CADBURY SCREME EGG Candies.
  • 2. Lay out a piece of waxed paper or use a cutting board to roll out the fondant.
  • 3. Pinch off a piece of fondant about the size of a large marble. Using a rolling pin, roll out to flatten a piece of fondant that will cover one CADBURY SCREME EGG Candy.
  • 4. Lay flattened fondant over the unwrapped egg and trim off excess.
  • 5. Wet fingers, then smooth the seam at the bottom of the CADBURY SCREME EGG Candy.
  • 6. Dampen a paper towel, then fold it in quarters to use as a blotter for your brush.
  • 7. Mix food coloring with the white decorating gel to create the color of the eyes. Paint, then allow to dry.
  • 8. Rinse the brush, then paint the pupil black. Allow to dry.
  • 9. If desired, you can mix food coloring with additional white decorating gel to create purple shadows and red veins on each eye.
  • 10. Use white gel to add highlight and shine in the eye.
  • 11. Keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy.
