Today is July 3rd and I made th is cake with my granddaughter and grandson. It was a bit time consuming but I didn't think it was all that hard to do. You just have to take your time. It looks awesome! Can't wait to share it with family tomorrow. From what I tasted of the batter it should be terrific. I used a butter cream frosting, homemade of course, and it always goes well with anything chocolate. Shared photo with family in Houston and they were thrilled with how it looked.
