Easy-Bake Brownie Pie with Strawberry Cream Topping Recipe

Things You'll Need

  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa or HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • STRAWBERRY CREAM TOPPING (recipe follows)

How to Make

  • 1. Heat oven to 325°F. Grease 9-inch pie plate.
  • 2. Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan over low heat; stir in cocoa until smooth. Remove from heat; immediately stir in sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla. Stir until well blended and smooth. Pour into prepared pie plate. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Spread with STRAWBERRY CREAM TOPPING. Cover; refrigerate. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 8 servings.
  • STRAWBERRY CREAM TOPPING: Thaw 1 package (10 oz.) frozen strawberries in syrup; drain. In blender or food processor, puree strawberries. IBeat 1 cup (1/2 pt.) cold whipping cream, 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in small bowl until stiff; fold in pureed strawberries.
