Friendship Exchange Valentine Take-One Center
Supplies:
- One bag of HERSHEY'S Friendship Xchange Valentine Candy (HERSHEY'S Friendship Xchange Assortments, REESE'S Peanut Butter Hearts Friendship Xchange, HERSHEY'S KISSABLES Candies Friendship Xchange, KIT KAT Wafer Bar Conversations Friendship Xchange, JOLLY RANCHER Assorted Heart-shaped Lollipops Friendship Xchange, TWIZZLERS PULL-N-PEEL Candy Friendship Xchange)
- One 12" heart or square holds approximately 20-24 snack size pieces of HERSHEY'S Friendship Xchange candy
- One 12" square piece of foam-core, illustration board or heavy duty cardboard
- Red (or pink) construction, craft or wrapping paper
- Pencil, permanent marker, artist's razor or utility knife
- Non-toxic craft glue or push-pins
Instructions
1. Use a piece of foam-core, illustration board or heavy-duty cardboard approximately 12" square.2. Glue a piece of red construction, craft or wrapping paper onto the board.
3. Draw a heart-shaped cutting guide onto the board lightly with a pencil.
4. Carefully cut the outline of the heart shape with an artist's razor or utility knife (NOTE: this step is optional and should be done by adults only; the board can be square, rectangular or any shape desired).
5. Write the "to" and "from" names in the spaces provided on the Friendship Xchange candy wrappers.
6. Arrange the candies on the heart-shaped board as desired and affix to the board using dabs of non-toxic craft glue or push-pins (being careful to pierce only the sealed ends of the wrappers).
7. Post the board in a prominent place along with a sign inviting recipients to claim their Valentine treats!
Completed craft is for decorative purposes only. Candy should not be eaten.
