Halloween Crafts
With a little imagination and some household supplies, you can turn the entire room into a frightfully fun place!
Pirates
Materials Needed:
- Baggy white shirt or white striped "sailor" shirt
- Capri or knickers length pants (feel free to cut or role to length)
- Brown or black tie up shoes
- 1 yard of red striped material or red bandana
- Cardboard
- Aluminum foil
- Floppy hat
- Feathers
- Leather belt with a big buckle
- Tacky glue or glue gun
- Scissors
- Gold jewelry
Directions:
Pick a combination of the base outfits described above.
Tie a bandana around the pirate's waist or head.
Use cardboard to cut out sword shapes. (See Pattern)
Glue aluminum foil around the cardboard blade of the sword.
Glue feathers to the hat.
Adorn with gold as the "stolen treasure".
