For more than 15 years, nationally recognized, award-winning family lifestyle expert Donna Erickson has been building strong family relationships through her fun, do-it-together ideas, educational activities, games and projects. Her creative strategies help develop lasting memories and make the time we spend with kids count. Her goal is always the same: finding creative ways for parents and children to spend time together during what she calls “this roller coaster of life we all live.”
Erickson has won distinguished awards and acclaim as an author of numerous best-selling books, including Prime Time Together … with Kids and Fabulous Funstuff for Families. She is a syndicated columnist, a supporting character on the new PBS children’s series Jay Jay the Jetplane and is an executive producer/writer/host for her national television series Donna's Day.
Erickson has received a Gold Parents’ Choice Award for her books, a Gold Parents’ Choice Award for her TV series and was designated by the Associated Press for Donna’s Day as one of the top ten television shows in the U.S. Donna appears as a frequent guest on The Today Show, CNN, The Oprah Winfrey Show and numerous programs on HGTV and the Discovery Channel.
Erickson has a master’s degree in education, speaks several languages and has lived and traveled in more than 40 countries. She currently resides in Minneapolis with her husband and three children.
Most recently, Erickson is partnering with The Hershey Company to celebrate her Fabulous Funstuff for Families book and the imagination and fun surrounding the summer. With exciting family crafts, recipes and tips for summertime fun, Hershey and Erickson have everything families need to make lasting memories.
