Championship Chocolate Chip Bars
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick)cold butter or margarine
- 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips or HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, divided
- 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F.2. Stir together flour and brown sugar in medium bowl; cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips; press mixture on bottom of ungreased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes.
3. Combine sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla in large bowl. Stir in remaining 1-1/2 cups chips and nuts. Spread evenly over hot baked crust. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. About 36 bars.

I Loved it! So easy and so few ingredients. They come out perfect and taste oh so rich! You could even try adding peanut butter or butterscotch chips to the mix. Really great recipe!

I made this recipe for Christmas and everyone loved it. It wasn't that difficult to make, what I specifically liked is you could use any type of nut you like. Delicious!!
