Brickle Drop Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1-1/3 cups (8 oz. pkg.) HEATH BITS 'O BRICKLE Toffee Bits

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.

  2. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt in large bowl until blended. Add eggs; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended. Stir in toffee bits. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheet.

  3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. About 6 dozen cookies.

Great recipe, the batter freezes well for use later. I added 1 bag of Hershey's chocolate chips and everyone loves them.

Very good cookies - Heath toffee flavor is truly underrated in the cookie world. As a tip, be sure to drop them far away from each other on the cookie sheet. Maybe I made them too big, but mine seemed to spread out a lot more than usual. Of course, that doesn't matter at all, given the fact that the end result is still delicious. I ate a few before they even cooled!

Oh my goodness are these delicious!!! I highly recommend these chewy and tasty cookies. They're easy to make and were a real hit in our house. Can't wait to share them with friends & family.

These turned out great, the dough was my favorite part! My only tip is do not forget the salt... it made a huge difference in how the cookies turned out visually. I will make these again!
