There is nothing I'd rather bake...and eat...than this delicious, gooey, hot dessert. With a little dab of homemade whipped cream on top, it's the best thing I've ever made every time I make it. My three other family members and I nearly gobble up the entire dish- but it's best fresh!

The recipe is great!! Quick and Easy. I've been making this for years for a quick dessert and everyone thinks it is fantastic. I too prefer vanilla ice cream on mine with a side of raspberries. Thank you for this recipe!!

I've baked this many times for family and friends because it is hot, easy, and ready to eat when you pull it out of the oven. I've baked many, many dishes, but this dessert stands out as my favorite.

This was very easy, rich and full of chocolately goodness! I also prefer vanilla ice cream over the whipped topping.

This pudding cake with whipped topping is absolutely wonderful! Tried this recipe several years ago, then lost the recipe. I am thrilled to have dound it again. Thank you! This will satisfy the most "extreme" chocolate lover. Be sure and warm it for just a few seconds before adding the topping.

I've been making this for decades! It's great if you run out or are low on eggs, yet want a chocolate dessert. And the recipe is better than many others I've found.

This recipe is quick, easy, and delicious. I prefer vanilla ice cream in lieu of the whipped cream, or you can try both. It is a rich dessert and a little goes a long way.

Featured Tip

HERSHEY'S Cocoa keeps very well when stored at room temperature in the original container. It retains its freshness and quality without refrigeration. When storing HERSHEY'S Cocoa, avoid contact with moisture and/or high heat. Both can cause clumping and gray discoloration, although neither affect cocoa flavor or quality.
