Bank
A bank is a great way to teach children about the importance of saving money. But instead of going with a typical piggy bank, why not make a HERSHEY'S Syrup bank? Customize it with personal photos as well as fun colored detailing.

Materials:

Directions:

1. Cut an opening near the top of the bottle that's long enough to fit a quarter and wide enough for a folded dollar bill.

2. Cut another opening in the shape of an inch wide rectangle on the back of the bottle that stretches from the top to the bottom. This is where you can watch your money accumulate.

3. Cut a piece of cellophane so that it is 1/2-inch longer and wider than the opening on the back of the bottle. Hot glue over the opening to completely cover it. TIP: You can use plastic wrap instead of cellophane if you're in a pinch.

4. Wrap one of the foam sheets around the side of the bottle so that it covers half of the bottle. Before hot gluing into place, make sure you don't cover the opening on the back of the bottle.

5. Wrap the other foam sheet around the opposite side covering the other half of the bottle. Before hot gluing into place, make sure you don't cover the opening on the back of the bottle.

6. Using the scissors or cutting knife, cut out the foam covering the opening on the front of the bottle.

7. For the excess foam at the top of the bottle, cut a straight line in the middle of the foam down to the bottle.

8. Fold the excess over the bottle on each side and hot glue in place.

9. Draw or cut out a picture of what the money in the bank will be for and glue it to the front of the bottle.

10. Take two pipe cleaners (one for each color of foam) and twist them together.

11. Glue them around the picture on the bottle.

12. Twist together two more pipe cleaners.

11. Wrap the pipe cleaners around the top of the bottle just underneath the cap and hot glue them in place.
