Instructions

  1. Fill the basket with green Easter grass and insert the baseball glove and baseball. Fill the water bottle with assorted Easter candies from Hershey and HERSHEY'S chocolates and place into the basket.
  2. As an option you can embellish and add in a baseball cap and also include our fun baseball game. Insert curled ribbon into the basket, making sure to let the ribbon drape outside of the basket.
  3. Finally, finish off your basket with assorted Easter candies from Hershey and HERSHEY'S chocolates.
  4. Baseball Cap
  5. To add a personal touch, use a purple fabric marker to color the bill of the cap.
  6. Then print our "Baseball MVP" logo on a transfer sheet. Follow the instructions that come with the transfer sheet to adhere the logo to the cap.
  7. Baseball game
  8. Print out our baseball field guide to help you create the game board. Using the foam brush, paint the foam core, as it's shown in the field guide, with the green and tan craft paint. Let it dry completely. Then take the ruler and use the white colored pencil to create the baselines.
  9. Print out both sets of our baseball scoring balls on sticker paper, cut them out, and adhere the balls to the background. (For the best results we recommend Sticker Project Paper from Avery #3383)
  10. Take the fuzzy sided Velcro and adhere to the ping pong ball, making sure to cover as much of the ball as possible. Cutting or using Velcro circles makes it a lot easier to cover the ball completely.
  11. Cut the scratchy sided Velcro to the size of the baseball scoring balls and adhere the Velcro to the game board, making sure to place it in the center of the scoring balls.
  12. Print out several baseball scoring sheets on regular printer paper.
  13. How to Play the Game
  14. Write the names of the players on the scoring sheet.
  15. Each player stands about two feet away, and takes turns tossing the ping pong ball at the game board, trying to make the ball stick to the scoring balls.
  16. A player is allowed three tries to get the ball to stick to the game board. If the ball sticks, the player is awarded the points on the scoring ball. However, if the ball sticks to the "Fly Out" scoring ball the player forfeits the remainder of the turn. If the ball does not stick after three turns, it is considered an out.
  17. At the end of six innings, add up the points from each player, and get ready to congratulate the winner! Make sure to give the winner an extra special prize, we suggest a delicious HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Bunny.
