Jeff Hurst

Jeff Hurst has been a Principal Scientist with The Hershey Company for 33 years. He has degrees in Clinical Biochemistry and Biochemistry from Ohio University and Youngstown State University. While at Hershey, Jeff has been involved in Analytical Research and Services Group. His work at Hershey includes the development and evaluation of new analytical technologies and methods, allergy research, spectroscopy and spectrometry, support for plant troubleshooting, and support for the HERSHEY CENTER FOR HEALTH & NUTRITION. He also has over 250 publications and presentations ranging from topics of analytical methods to archaeology. In addition, Jeff is an Adjunct Professor of Comparative Medicine at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He is also on the graduate faculty at McGill University, Duquesne University, University of Cordoba, Lebanon Valley College, and Dickinson College.
