KISSES Milk Chocolate Brownies


  • 42 HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Milk Chocolates
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 1-1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda


  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8- or 9-inch square pan. Remove wrappers from chocolates; set aside.

  2. Beat shortening, brown sugar, water and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Add eggs; beat well.

  3. Stir together flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda. Gradually add to sugar mixture, beating just until blended. Stir in chocolates. Spread batter in prepared pan.

  4. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies start to pull from edge of pan. Remove from oven to wire rack. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Makes 16 brownies.
