Breakfast Biscuit Surprises


  • 24 HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Milk Chocolates
  • 1-1/2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup dried blueberries, sweetened dried cranberries or dried cherries
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup (1/2 pt.) chilled whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for rolling
  • Powdered sugar (optional)


  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Remove wrappers from chocolates.

  2. Stir together flour, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Stir in dried fruit and nuts. Stir whipping cream into flour mixture, stirring just until ingredients are moistened.

  3. Turn mixture out onto lightly floured surface. Knead gently until soft dough forms (about 2 minutes). Divide dough into 24 equal balls. Gently press each ball around one chocolate piece, covering completely. Roll balls in granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet about two inches apart.

  4. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until set and just starting to brown. Serve warm, sprinkled with powdered sugar, if desired. 24 biscuits.
