HERSHEY'S KISSES Picture Frame Ornament
Supplies:
- 5 HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Chocolates filled with Caramel
- Poster board or craft foam in two different colors, cut into three 7-inch squares (two in one color, one in the other color)
- Straight-edged scissors
- Decorative-edged scissors
- Plastic cup or drinking glass
- Glue stick for poster board or non-toxic craft glue for craft foam
- Photo or color copy to frame
- Glitter glue
- 12-inch decorative yarn or string
Instructions:
1. Have children trace the smaller star shape onto the two pieces of the craft foam or poster board that are the same color, using the template here. You might have to help children cut out the stars using the straight-edged scissors.
2. Use the larger star shape to trace and cut out another star with the decorative-edged scissors.
3. Ask children to trace a circle on one of the small stars using a plastic cup or drinking glass as a template. Cut out the circle with the straight-edged scissors.
4. With craft glue (for craft foam) or glue stick (for poster board) have children glue the photo behind the small star with the circle. Then glue the three pieces together, with the largest star sandwiched in the center, the small, solid star in back, and the small star with the photo on top. Let dry one hour.
5. Decorate with glitter glue and chocolates and let dry.
6. Cut out a small, 1/8-inch hole at top of shape. Insert yarn through hole and tie. Hang on holiday tree.
