ALMOND JOY Oatmeal Bowl

Get your day off to a sweet start with an ALMOND JOY Candy Bar and MOUNDS Coconut Flakes mixed into your morning oatmeal.

Ingredients

  • 2 ALMOND JOY Snack Size Candy Bars
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1-1/2 to 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk or milk
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds

Directions

1. Remove wrappers from candy bars. Cut into small pieces; set aside.

2. Place oats and sugar, if desired in microwave-safe bowl. Add coconut milk; stir to blend. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 1-1/2 minutes or until oats are plump and milk is absorbed.

3. Stir in coconut and almonds. Cool slightly; top with reserved candy bar pieces.

* To toast almonds: Heat oven to 350°F. Spread almonds in thin layer in shallow baking pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until light golden brown; cool.
